The public pages do not describe a dedicated ED MDM with differential, risk, data reviewed, and disposition rationale. They also do not describe a chart review or multi-patient ED tracking.

The work that follows the first note

Doximity says Scribe is free for verified U.S. physicians, NPs, PAs, and medical students with a Doximity account. The Scribe pages do not advertise a separate paid Scribe tier, trial duration, hospital purchase requirement, or named third-party EHR integrations. The page describes sending the reviewed note to the patient's chart, but does not name the supported EHRs. The price tradeoff is a free first note versus a paid emergency medicine workspace that includes the MDM and the tasks around it.

A 29-day note window is not a complete data policy

palmER's security page describes a shorter working-data boundary: ambient audio is never stored, patient data automatically deletes within 24 hours, and patient data is not used to train AI models. The clinician reviews and controls the final text copied into the medical record.

Doximity's Help Center says Scribe Notes are available for 29 days and then permanently deleted. That tells you when the named Scribe Note is available in that product surface. It does not establish that every submitted item has the same deletion deadline.

The Terms of Service classify Scribe submissions as User Content. They grant Doximity a broad, perpetual license to copy, process, analyze, retain, use, commercialize, and develop products from that content, including creating, training, fine-tuning, and improving AI and machine-learning models. The Terms also say AI outputs are informational and require independent judgment, and they require users to obtain applicable consents.

The Business Associate Agreement permits automated, algorithmic, machine-learning, large-language-model, generative-AI, transcription, summarization, classification, extraction, prediction, and related processing of PHI to provide, secure, maintain, improve, and administer covered services. It also permits de-identification and commercialization of de-identified data and allows a retained copy of PHI after termination when return or destruction is not feasible.

Who should choose palmER?
