New User Strategy
Start with just the MDM Assistant on your first shift. Once you're comfortable with one tool, gradually add others. Trying to use everything at once can be overwhelming.
Accessing palmER AI Suite
palmER AI Suite is a web-based platform - you access it through your browser, not a mobile app.

Recording Patient Encounters
If you have access to ambient scribing, you can record patient encounters and have palmER auto-generate your HPI and Physical Exam.
Set up your microphone
First-time setup takes 30 seconds — allow microphone access in your browser. See Microphone Setup for step-by-step instructions.
Create a patient
Tap + in the patient panel to add a new patient with room number and chief complaint.
Record your encounter
Tap the record button, conduct your encounter, then tap stop. Add optional supplemental context (exam findings, corrections), then tap Done.
Review auto-generated documentation
Your HPI and Physical Exam generate automatically. Review in Chart View, edit if needed, and refine with follow-up instructions.
