Audio Quality Tips

Good audio quality leads to better transcription and documentation:

  • Place your phone close to the conversation — within 3–4 feet works well
  • Minimize background noise when possible — though the transcription handles typical ED ambient noise
  • Speak clearly — the AI handles medical terminology well, but mumbling reduces accuracy
  • Don't worry about typical hospital noise — overhead pages, monitor alarms, and background conversations are filtered effectively
