Login Issues

Troubleshoot palmEM AI login problems including forgotten passwords, incorrect credentials, and alternative sign-in methods.

Can't sign in to palmEM AI? Most login issues can be resolved quickly. Work through these solutions to get back into your account.

Common Login Problems

Wrong Email or Password

The most common login issue is simply entering incorrect credentials.

Check these first:

  • Is your email spelled correctly? (no typos or autocorrect errors)
  • Is Caps Lock off? Passwords are case-sensitive
  • Are you using the right password? (it's easy to confuse passwords between apps)

Try this: Type your password in the email field first (where you can see it), verify it's correct, then copy and paste it into the password field.

Forgot Your Password

If you can't remember your password:

Tap Forgot Password

On the Sign In screen, tap "Forgot Password"

Enter your email address

Type in the email associated with your palmEM AI account.

Check your email

Look for the password reset link in your inbox.

Create a new password

Follow the link and set a new password.

Sign in

Return to palmEM AI and sign in with your new password.

Check Your Spam Folder

Password reset emails sometimes end up in spam or promotions folders. If you don't see the email within a few minutes, check there before requesting another reset.

Can't Remember Your Email

If you're not sure which email you used for your palmEM account:

Check these places:

  • Your welcome email when you first signed up
  • Your App Store or Google Play purchase receipt
  • Other email accounts you use regularly

Alternative: Use "Sign in with Apple" or "Sign in with Google" instead - these work even if you originally created your account with an email and password.

Alternative Sign-In Methods

You can use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google even if you originally set up your account with email and password.

These methods are:

  • Faster - no need to remember passwords
  • More secure - leverages your device's built-in authentication
  • Always available - as long as you have access to your Apple or Google account

To use them:

Choose your sign-in method

Tap "Sign in with Apple" or "Sign in with Google" on the login screen.

Authenticate

Use Face ID, Touch ID, or your device password to verify your identity.

Access granted

You're signed in to your palmEM account instantly.

Connection Issues

You need an active internet connection to sign in. If you're seeing connection errors:

Troubleshooting steps:

Check your connection

Verify that WiFi or cellular data is enabled on your device.

Switch networks

Try switching between WiFi and cellular data.

Test in another app

Open Safari, Chrome, or another app to verify internet is working.

Restart if needed

If internet isn't working, restart your device.

Try signing in again

Attempt to sign in to palmEM AI once your connection is restored.

Sometimes login problems are caused by the app itself:

Update the App

Outdated app versions can cause login failures:

Open your app store

Launch the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

Search for palmEM

Find the palmEM AI app in the store.

Update if available

If an Update button appears, tap it to install the latest version.

Try logging in

Attempt to sign in again after the update completes.

Reinstall the App

If updating doesn't help, try a fresh installation:

Delete palmEM AI

Remove the app from your device.

Restart your device

Power off and restart your phone or tablet.

Sign in

Log in with your credentials - your notes will sync back automatically.

Account Issues

Account Doesn't Exist

If you're getting an "account not found" error:

Try different email addresses

You may have used an alternative email - check other addresses you use.

Try alternative sign-in methods

You may have created your account with "Sign in with Apple" or Google - try those options.

Create an account if needed

If you never created an account, tap "Sign Up" to create one.

Account Locked or Suspended

If you get a message that your account is locked:

This is rare and usually happens only after multiple failed login attempts. Wait 15 minutes and try again, or contact support.

Still Can't Log In?

If you've tried everything above and still can't access your account, contact palmEM support with:

  • The email address you're trying to use
  • Any error messages you're seeing (screenshots help)
  • What you've already tried
  • Your device type and OS version
